BOO to you from our crew!!

Halloween has come and gone. This year we had a good time and once again got lots of sugar... I mean candy! Here is a picture of the crew that went this year. As you can see Rick decided to dress up along with the kids! I loved it... I'm dressing up next year per my kids request.

I know, I know....

Its been a while since my last post! School has started off GREAT! Emma is loving her classes this year and Elyse is a big girl now since she is at school with Emma. We just got report cards and Emma made A's & B's! Bill and I are sooooo proud of her! She has worked really hard this year and it shows. Besides school, the only other change in our lives is my new little nephew. Jacob was born in September and is already changing and getting big!

We just had fall break and took the kids to Orlando this year with the Mims. We decided to give Sea Worlds Aquatica Waterpark a try and we loved it! We also did Kennedy Space center and learned alot. Bill and Emma soaked it all in, it was right up their alley!

Once we returned home we realized that the fair was in town, so off we went to that! Our fair can be summed up in one word.... RIPOFF! But the kids still had a good time!

School = Football

Last night was the kickoff of high school football for us! We LOVE Friday nights!!! The girls love going to cheer on the dogs and well, Bill and I do too! Last night we had our first game of the season against Central. It was a GREAT game.... WE WON!! We can't wait for this Friday!!!

School is in....

So 4th grade begins for Emma and Elyse starts pre-k! Where did the summer go? Although we had lots of fun this summer, the girls both were ready to start school! Elyse was super excited because she is at sissy's (aka Emma) school. I must say it has been nice having them both at the same school. Emma is such a good BIG sister! Here is a pic of Emma and her favorite teacher! She thinks she is soooo cool. Emma says she has all these cute things in her room and has the coolest clothes! Elyse loves her teachers also. I cant find the picture that I took of her on the first day of school. Hopefully I can find it and post it along with Emmas.

The End is Drawing Near

Ugh.... I know that the kids are dreading it but I am looking forward to school starting! I am ready to get back into a routine. We did have a great summer though! We did alot of beach traveling this year.... we just ended it with our annual Brookerd family trip. We had a good time playing and of course eating! The kids enjoyed being able to spend their weekend with their Memaw and Papa!! And I think Memaw and Papa enjoyed spending time with their grandkids! I also enjoyed being able to spend time with Ava and watching her experience the water and sand at this age! She is soooo fun! Here are a few pics from our trip... enjoy!

Turning NINE

In nine more years my baby girl will be 18 and thinking about what to do with the rest of her life! To think that these next nine years will go by as fast as these past nine years brings tears to my eyes. This past weekend we celebrated her birthday with some friends doing her most favorite thing in the world.... SWIMMING! We are very thankful for Aunt Julie and Uncle Jeff's pool. They are so nice to let us use it every year! Happy Birthday Emma!
We decided this year to do cupcakes. Yes, I cheated and bought them BUT Emma, Bailey and Elyse decorated them with sprinkles and the umbrellas.

And as you can tell it didn't have to be a birthday cake to be good!

Her best friend from school. She was so excited that she made it!
